It was another overcast gloomy day in terms of weather but not for “Klammen”. I cross the border from Styria into Upper Austria to venture the Dr. Vogelgesang-klamm. The above image was taken with the tripod lying across the wooden walking rails with the camera (the expensive camera need I say), hanging over the side using Live View to compose.  I kept the camera strap around my neck in the event of anything unfortunate. The walkways were like walking with a bar of soap attached to the underside of each foot, so extreme caution not to slip and lost ones equipment or their pride was exercised.

The Dr. Vogelgesang-Klamm is named after a local doctor in 1906 in the town of Spital am Pyhrn for his support in making the gorge accessible. The walkways are 1,500m long, with beautiful cascading waterfalls.
